Southend United have completed the signing of Charlton winger Lloyd Sam on loan until the end of the season. The 22-year-old signed a new contract at the Valley at the start of the current campaign until 2010, but has since fallen out of favour in midfield.
He was sent out on a month's loan at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season, making four appearances.
And the former England Under-20 international also enjoyed a loan spell with Leyton Orient in 2004.
