Shrewsbury Town recall Holden from Rotherham United
Holden made seven appearances for the Millers this season
Shrewsbury Town have recalled Dean Holden from his loan spell with League Two rivals Rotherham United.
Holden initially moved to the Don Valley Stadium on the eve of the season in August in a bid to get match fitness after recovering from a summer injury.
The 30-year-old full-back then extended his Millers loan for two more months.
But he has only made the bench for the Millers' last eight games - and he has now been summoned back to the Greenhous Meadow by Town boss Graham Turner.
"Dean has been a model professional throughout his stay with Rotherham United," chief operating officer Paul Douglas told the club's website.
"Dean arrived at a time when we had one or two injuries and filled in admirably when required. We wish him well for the rest of the season."
