Rotherham sign Shrewsbury Town's Dean Holden on loan
Holden started 37 league games for Shrewsbury last season
Rotherham have signed full-back Dean Holden from League Two rivals Shrewsbury on a one-month loan deal.
Holden - fit again after a summer injury - will act as cover for the Millers' injured right-backs Dale Tonge and Jonny Mullins.
"He's not had much football pre-season and needs games," Town boss Graham Turner told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"It's a move which suits both parties. For us he can get a month under his belt and we can assess his fitness."
Turner added: "He won't be allowed to play in the Carling Cup, and his month finishes just before we play Rotherham (on September 4) so that won't be a problem."
