Shrewsbury Town's Craig Disley ready to make return
Disley has only played five league games this season
Shrewsbury midfielder Craig Disley is determined to put his knee injury problems behind him by getting back into the first team.
The 28-year-old played alongside Lewis Neal in a friendly against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday in a bid to get back to match fitness.
"It was a good work out for us. I feel alright, a bit stiff," Disley told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"It was my first proper game for four months but it went well."
The former Bristol Rovers man has been training for the last three weeks and hopes he can get back into manager Paul Simpson's plans and that may come sooner than expected.
He may be recalled against Rochdale after fellow midfielder Paul Murray picked up an ankle injury in the 0-0 draw against Grimsby and has missed training for most of the week.
"If the manager thinks I can do a job for him, then I'm more than happy to give it my best shot."
