Shrewsbury boss Paul Simpson is urging his men to remember last year's shock FA Cup defeat at Blyth ahead of their first round tie with Staines Town.
"Blyth was a horrible feeling. We must make sure we're not embarrassed again," Simpson told BBC Radio Shropshire.
The Shrews face the Blue Square South side at the Prostar on 7 November.
And Simpson said: "We found out last year how tricky it was going away to a non-League side, so I'm delighted we're at home."
Simpson will have done his homework on Staines: he went to watch their home game with Newport in the league on Tuesday.
