Simpson will face close-up scrutiny from Shrewsbury fans

Paul Simpson has promised to be open and honest with Shrewsbury supporters at the club's latest fans' forum.

"I know I'm going to get grilled, which probably isn't something you should look forward to, but I think you have to be approachable," he said.

"In football, you have an AGM every Saturday, when 6,000 people pass their opinions - that's not something managers face in normal business!

"At the forum, I hope I can satisfy every one-to-one question."

The forum, at the Prostar Stadium on Thursday (8 Oct, 1930 BST), is being recorded for broadcast by BBC Radio Shropshire.
