McIntyre broke his leg against Port Vale in January
Shrewsbury Town midfielder Kevin McIntyre has said he is ready to finish the season on a high after recovering from a broken leg.
McIntyre suffered a double fracture of his right fibula during Town's 1-1 draw at Port Vale in January but made his comeback in Saturday's win at Dagenham.
He told BBC Radio Shropshire: "I'm just glad the season's been extended.
"It would mean everything to be involved, a chance to play at Wembley and get promoted."
McIntyre returned as Town beat Dagenham 2-1 to book their place in the League Two play-off semi-finals with Bury.
McIntyre admitted he was relieved to make it through the full 90 minutes against the Daggers: "First 10 minutes I was breathing heavy, but after that I got my second wind. I was glad to be back in the team."
McIntyre joined the Shrews from Macclesfield in January 2008 under previous manager Gary Peters.
