AFC Telford United plan to give debuts to new signings James Murray and Danny Carey-Bertram at struggling Burscough.
Rob Smith's men head to Victoria Park to face a side under new management.
Former Wolves striker Andy Mutch, who was Telford number two in Alan Lewer's days in charge at the Bucks Head, has now taken over at Burscough.
Mutch's first task is to end their poor home form, Burscough having so far failed to win in front of their own fans this term in five attempts.
Burscough have won three times on the road but their run of poor home results has seen them slump to 17th in Blue Square North.
And they now play host to a Telford side who missed the chance to go back into the top five by only drawing 0-0 at Workington last weekend but are on an eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
Murray, an Australian defender who has failed to break into the Shrewsbury Town first team, has signed for a month.
Carey-Bertram, 24, an ex-England C international striker who played at Hereford, comes on a season-long loan.
Meanwhile, popular full-back Asa Charlton, 30, has been released, after struggling to recover from a groin operation.
