Shrewsbury have won the League Managers Association's performance of the week award for their 7-0 win at Wycombe in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Manager Paul Simpson received a specially engraved crystal football - the second for the Shrews this season.
"It was a tremendous display from all the players [on Tuesday], a really complete performance," Simpson said.
Grant Holt, who scored five goals in the game, told BBC Radio Shropshire: "It was a personal and a team success."
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was on the League Managers' Association panel which decided the award.
The other panellists were former managers Joe Royle, Dave Bassett, Barry Fry and chairman Howard Wilkinson.
