Shrewsbury defender Graham Coughlan is recovering from a head injury after Sunday's 1-1 draw at Chester.
The 33-year-old was taken to hospital as a precaution after a clash of heads.
Coughlan told BBC Radio Shropshire: "I lost the feeling in my left arm and I couldn't focus. I just needed a few minutes to clear my head."
Shrewsbury boss Paul Simpson: "We couldn't take any chances. The signs are good at the moment. Hopefully he'll be fine for next week."
