Paul Simpson is pleased with Shrewsbury's League Two start
Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Simpson admits he is expecting even more from weekend matchwinner Paul Murray once he has recovered from an Achilles problem.
"We haven't seen the best of him yet," said Simpson. "He's only working at about 65% fitness at the moment.
"I can't say he's renowned for long-range strikes, but he's got great quality with both feet.
"Hopefully when we get to the bottom of this ankle business we'll see more from him, Simpson told BBC Radio Shropshire.
Murray's 25-yard strike helped Town chisel out their 1-0 success at Exeter - the home side hit the woodwork three times - to maintain their 100 per cent start to the League Two season.
"It was a hard-earned win against a good footballing side with momentum behind them," added Simpson. "And it sets a marker down. To win at a place like Exeter shows we mean business."
