Gary Peters looking for hard work to see his team though |
Gary Peters will try not to allow any negativity as Shrewsbury Town battle to get out of their recent slump. "It's up to me and John McMahon to keep the lads positive, and they are very buoyant," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
Peters will also not allow talk of bad luck. "It's more about hard work," he added. "Top teams earn success - there's no luck about it."
Darren Moss's knee injury, suffered in the reserves this week, means that he will miss Saturday's trip to Brentford.
Andy Cooke faces a scan on his left thigh, while the club's medical team are keeping a close check on Dave Hibbert who suffered mild concussion in last weekend's defeat by Lincoln.
That left Shrewsbury in 14th place in League Two following a run of just four points from a possible 24 since Boxing Day.
