James Constable - on the hunt for goals |
Shrewsbury Town's two new recruits from Kidderminster Harriers are eager to make an impact. "I want to prove that I can make it back in the League, get amongst it and score a few goals," striker James Constable told BBC Radio Shropshire.
The 23-year-old striker was previously at Walsall, where he was first noticed by Town boss Gary Peters.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Scott Bevan, 28, has promised to put pressure on Town's established No 1 Glyn Garner.
"Glyn's a fantastic goalkeeper with Welsh international credentials," said the much-travelled Bevan.
"But I'm not here just to make up the numbers. I want to push Glyn all the way, and hopefully it'll be a good battle between us."
