James Constable is being backed as the striker to help Shrewsbury Town push for the play-offs. The 23-year-old signed from Kidderminster just before the transfer deadline after being chased by Town boss Gary Peters for some time.
"He impressed me when he was at Walsall, and he started scoring goals for fun at Kidderminster," Peters told BBC Radio Shropshire.
Also joining from Kidderminster is 28-year-old goalkeeper Scott Bevan.
"Bevan's a shot-stopper and a taker of crosses - and at six foot six he's a commanding man in the box," Peters added.
Shrewsbury's keeper Chris McKenzie and - on a month's loan - defender Luke Jones have left in the opposite direction to join Harriers.
