| Tuesday, 11 February, 2003, 17:55 GMT Talbot joins Shrews Shrewsbury Town have signed Rotherham midfielder Stewart Talbot to help their bid to stay clear of relegation danger. Talbot has joined the Shrews on a month's loan and is set to make his debut against York City on Tuesday night. The 29-year-old former Port Vale man was a regular for the Millers in each of the last two seasons, but has made just a handful of appearances for Ronnie Moore's side this term. Talbot was keen on a loan move for the chance to play regular first-team football. And he joins Rotherham defender David Artell on loan at Shrewsbury, who are just two points above the relegation zone after a run of 10 league games without a win. |
