McMahon's three-game suspension for his red card has now ended

Sheffield Wednesday have re-signed Middlesbrough right-back Tony McMahon on loan for 28 days.

The 22-year-old right-back was recalled by the Teessiders during his initial loan spell after being sent off at Barnsley on 21 October.

McMahon started 10 Championship games for the Owls in his first loan spell.

McMahon has now served his three-game ban for his red card against the Tykes and will be at Hillsborough until the game with Norwich on 29 November.

Meanwhile, the Owls have extended the loan of Stoke defender Lewis Buxton until 17 January.
