McMahon played the whole 90 minutes in the draw with Preston
Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws believes loanee Tony McMahon can give the Owls more of an attacking threat.
The 22-year-old right-back joined the Owls last week on a month-long loan from Sunderland.
Laws told BBC Radio Sheffield that he was impressed with McMahon's debut in the Owls 1-1 draw with Preston.
"His balls into the strikers were top drawer and it makes us play. That's something that I'm looking forward to, seeing more performances like that."
Meanwhile, Laws has taken former Sheffield United full-back John Halls on trial.
The player is currently unattached after being released by Reading and will train with the Owls this week and is expected to feature for their reserves.
The 26-year-old played five games while on loan at the Blades at the end of 2007/08 season.
The former Arsenal trainee has also had Championship experience with Stoke City, Crystal Palace and Preston.
