Owls duo fit for clash with Dons

Francis Jeffers
Injury-prone Jeffers made just 12 appearances last season

Sheffield Wednesday striker Francis Jeffers is expected to make his injury comeback at MK Dons on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old former Everton and Arsenal striker has been out for seven months with ankle ligament damage.

"Jeffers is fully involved in training now and should play some part against MK Dons," manager Brian Laws told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"We expect him to start pushing on, progressing and pressuring the other strikers at the club."

Fellow forward Akpo Sodje is also likely to play at Stadium MK, the former Port Vale player has been out injured since January.
