Sheffield Wednesday academy graduate Sean McAllister has agreed a two-year contract extension with the club.

The midfielder was on loan at Mansfield earlier this season before returning to Hillsborough and impressing boss Brian Laws with some good performances.

The 20-year-old played eight games for Wednesday without scoring.

McAllister joins former academy players Mark Beevers, Tommy Spurr and Richard Wood in the Championship club's first-team squad for next season.
