Sheffield Wednesday will not sell defender Mark Beevers this summer according to the club's chief executive Kaven Walker.
The 18-year-old has attracted the interest of Premier League teams after outstanding performances this season.
Walker told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We've just given Mark a four-year contract so we're under no pressure to sell him."
The club has debts of around 27m and have appointed financial advisors to help attract investment.
Wednesday have previously been forced to cash in on their star players but they are determined to keep hold of Beevers.

The teenager has impressed this season after breaking into the first team and receiving a call up to the England Under-19's squad.
Beevers also won Wednesday's young academy player of the year award.
Meanwhile Walker has defended the club's decision to appoint an outside company to help them find a buyer.
"This is not a move of desperation, we cannot keep treading water. To move the club forward we need investment and they have contacts all over the world that have an interest in football," he said.
