The American international, 23, was carried off during the 2-1 defeat away at Crystal Palace.

Owls physio Mark Palmer told the club website: "The scans showed that Frank has ruptured a ligament in his ankle.

"We will see how he progresses over the next 10 days but it is likely that he will be out for six to eight weeks."
