Little made only eight appearances for Portsmouth last season

Sheffield United have completed the signing of former Reading winger Glen Little and brought back Tottenham defender Kyle Walker on loan.

Little, 33, joins the Blades on a one-year deal after a successful trial, following his release by Portsmouth.

Full-back Walker, 19, has agreed a season-long loan with United, just two weeks after joining Spurs.

Both Walker and Little will go straight into the squad for the Championship opener at Middlesbrough on Friday.

Little told BBC Radio Sheffield: "The [trial] games have gone pretty well. I feel like I've been here years really, I settled in straightaway.

"I hope to play as much as possible. I think I can make an impact.

"I've been in the Championship a lot of years and you always aim for the play-offs and if you can do better then that's a bonus."
