Veteran Sheffield United defender Chris Lucketti could be out of action for up to a month with a foot injury. The 35-year-old centre-back was injured during United's 4-0 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday.
Blades boss Neil Warnock told the Sheffield Star: "We don't know how long Chris will be out for.
"He's been for some tests and so it shouldn't be too long before we learn exactly what the situation is and how long it will take to heal."
Warnock has already ruled Lucketti out of Saturday's game against Everton.
He added: "I've been told he could be out for a few weeks so I am working on the assumption that he won't be available.
"The physios seem to think he has hurt a ligament at the bottom of his foot, which is quite unusual, but a while ago he had a spur there and so perhaps that might have contributed.
"It might have just popped and caught something it shouldn't, but Chris was in a fair amount of discomfort."
