Newly-promoted Sheffield United have signed on-loan defender Chris Lucketti on a permanent basis from Preston. The 34-year-old went on loan at Bramall Lane in March and the two clubs have now agreed a �300,000 fee.
Preston chairman Derek Shaw said: "Chris has been a terrific servant to Preston but the money allows us to bring in other players."
Preston have taken advantage by making Kevin Wilson, 20, and 26-year-old Jason Jarrett's loan deals permanent.
Wilson, a defender, moves from Notts County while midfielder Jarrett completes his switch from Norwich.
