Sheffield United have signed unsettled Brighton striker Colin Kazim-Richards on a three-year deal. The 20-year-old is believed to have cost the Blades 150,000, according to BBC Radio Sheffield.
Kazim-Richards handed in a transfer request after being dropped by Brighton boss Mark McGhee.
McGhee told the club's website: "Colin no longer wished to play for Brighton - as a result we have reluctantly accepted a bid from Sheffield United."
He added: "I am really disappointed and feel personally let down by Colin."
Meanwhile, Brighton extended the loan deal of West Ham midfielder Tony Stokes by a further month.
