Scunthorpe United goalkeeper Joe Murphy remains a summer target for Coventry City, BBC Radio Humberside understands.
The Republic of Ireland international is out of contract at Glanford Park, but has opened talks with the club he joined in 2006 over a new deal.
He helped the Iron return to the Championship at the first attempt, playing in their play-off final win over Millwall at Wembley in May.
The Sky Blues were linked with Murphy, 27, earlier this year.
