Salisbury City are on the brink of coming out of administration after a court approved a debt payment plan.

A new board of William Harrison-Allan, Jeff Hooper and Chris Brammall will assume control of the club next week.

Despite a 10-point deduction this season, the Whites have pulled clear of the drop zone and are a game away from a Wembley appearance in the FA Trophy.

In a statement, the new board said they could now plan the club's future with "more certainty and confidence".

The club had faced debts of around £200,000 to HM Revenue & Customs, but the decision looks set to secure the club's future.

The statement continued: "The new board would like to place on record its sincere thanks to everyone connected with the club who has worked tirelessly over the past six months or so to enable this to happen.

"The board is acutely aware that there is still much work to be done to guarantee Salisbury City's survival at the current level of football and is looking forward to working alongside all the relevant footballing authorities in order to achieve its goal of keeping the Whites in the Football Conference."
