Danny Webb signed for Salisbury in the 2008/09 season
Salisbury striker Danny Webb believes their FA Cup fourth qualifying round opponents Farnborough are better than their Southern League status suggests.
The Hampshire club are top of the Premier division and unbeaten, having brought in several players from the Blue Square Premier during the summer.
"I think their wage bill is ridiculous. They're pretty much a Conference squad," he told BBC Wiltshire.
"On paper a lot of people will put us down to lose."
He added: "We've got no illusions, it's going to be an extremely difficult game. It's a banana skin, there's no pressure on them.
"If anything they've got the more experienced and higher paid players but we're very confident and if we can get to the first round its a big boost to the club financially."
Since reaching the FA Cup second round in 2006 and holding Nottingham Forest to a 1-1 draw in a televised game, Salisbury have failed to progress past the qualifying stage.

In 2007, the Whites were knocked out by Stevenage before, 12 months later, being on the wrong end of a shock loss at Team Bath.
Webb has his own Cup memories as he suffered an upset playing for Southend against Kingstonian as a 17-year-old but still won the man-of-the-match award.
His father Dave scored the winner for Chelsea in the 1970 final replay with Leeds United.
And the much-travelled striker added: "It's a fun day if you're the underdog.
"Whether you're playing in front of 60,000 or 1,500 it's that buzz you get on FA Cup day, especially the lower clubs.
"They give it that little bit more effort and then everyone is glued to the TV the next day for the draw."
Saturday's winners will book a place in the first round proper.
