Salisbury allow Matthews to leave

Matthews is one of Salisbury's longest-serving players

Salisbury City have again loaned out striker Robbie Matthews to save money.

The long-serving forward only recently returned having been at Havant but has moved to Blue Square Premier rivals Crawley until the end of the campaign.

Aaron Cook and Wayne Turk have extended their loans at Newport County for the rest of the term and could sign permanent deals.

Meanwhile Salisbury have signed Reading teenager Daniel Spence for a month. He can play in defence or midfield.

The 19 year old joins for a month and will be available for tomorrow's home game against Stevenage.
