Robinson joined Salisbury from Forest Green in July 2007
Salisbury City defender Matt Robinson can continue playing for the club on a regular basis despite starting a new job in the Police force.
A change in the full-back's shift pattern has ensured he can continue to play on Saturdays.
Holmes told BBC Radio Wiltshire: "He's assured us he's going to be available."
Robinson is likely to miss some midweek cup fixtures and will be unavailable for Tuesday's Setanta Shield third round tie at Bath City.
Holmes will shuffle his squad for the trip to Twerton Park with teenagers Patrick Cox, Stephen Maher and Luke Ruddick in the travelling party after impressing for the reserves recently.
All three are defenders while Maher and Ruddick can also play in midfield.
Cox was released by Reading before training with the Whites while Maher left Yeovil in the summer and Ruddick was released by Brentford.
