Bournemouth have completed the signing of Salisbury City striker Matt Tubbs on a loan deal until the new year.
The 24-year-old, who was on the books at Dean Court as a youngster, was one of three Whites players made available for a move to cut costs at the club.
Tubbs, who joined Salisbury in 2003 from Dorchester Town, has scored more than 100 goals with the Whites.
The Whites fans' favourite will be in the squad for Friday's trip to Grimsby in League Two.
Whites boss Nick Holmes told BBC Radio Wiltshire: "He's gone on loan until the end of the year. He will come back to us hopefully and continue playing.
"Obviously if Bournemouth were to come back and start talking about [a permanent deal], then depending on our situation we might have to look at it."
