Salisbury City hope key striker Matt Tubbs will be fit for the start of the season after undergoing knee surgery. The England non-league international faces an operation after picking up an injury in training.
"Hopefully Matt will be back as quick as possible," manager Nick Holmes told the Salisbury Journal.
"He's got a bit of a tendon problem too so we're looking at about four weeks. With a bit of luck he'll be right for the start of the season."
