Salisbury boss Nick Holmes said he was encouraged by his team's 1-0 win over Weymouth in the Blue Square Premier.
Holmes told BBC Radio Wiltshire: "Our passing could have been a bit better and our performance could have been better but it was a good win.
"Weymouth had only one effort on target whereas we created clear chances but failed to hit the target.
"After losing 4-1 on Saturday I hoped we'd respond. A lot of good came out of it and there is still more to come."

The home side started well with Andrew Sandell denied by Weymouth keeper Richard Barnard in the 3rd minute, just before Matt Tubbs fired wide.
Weymouth managed their first effort early well in the second-half when James Bittner denied Stuart Beavon.
But Salisbury, always more impressive, went ahead when Feeney slotted home from 12 yards on 54 minutes.
