Rushden & Diamonds sign defender Luke Prosser on loan
Prosser could make his debut for Diamonds against Altrincham
Rushden & Diamonds have signed Southend United centre-half Luke Prosser on a three-month loan deal.
The 22-year-old was at Tottenham Hotspur's youth academy before joining Port Vale, where he made 33 appearances in all.
He joined Southend in the summer, and has played in 13 matches for Paul Sturrock's side so far this season.
The former Kidderminster and Salisbury loanee goes into the Diamonds squad to face Altrincham on Saturday.
Prosser joins fellow defender Ollie Thorne as new arrivals to Nene Park this week, after the departure of Diamonds' captain Jamie Stuart to AFC Wimbledon for a nominal fee.
