Rushden & Diamonds boss Justin Edinburgh says he is sure winger Lee Tomlin will not leave this summer.
The 21-year-old was targeted by Crawley Town, but the Diamonds rejected a six-figure transfer bid for the player.
"We've had no further bids from Crawley, and I don't think Lee would leave for another club at this level," Edinburgh told BBC Radio Northampton.
"I'm confident that he'll remain at Rushden until a league club comes in for him, or we become a league club."
Tomlin was the Diamonds' top goal scorer last season, with 15 in 39 starts for the Blue Square Premier play-off semi-finalists.
"He's been first class, and he's shown a great attitude in training and in the friendly matches for us," added Edinburgh.
