No sentiment from Diamonds boss

Justin Edinburgh

Rushden and Diamonds manager Justin Edinburgh will treat Saturday's match against his old club Grays Athletic the same as any other.

The former Tottenham defender was in charge at the New Recreation Ground for 13 months before leaving by mutual consent in February 2008.

"Grays is Grays and I enjoyed my time there," he told BBC Radio Northampton.

"But Rushden is my club now and to be honest that's all that really matters to me," Edinburgh added.

"The most important thing for us - including the players here who've also played at Grays - is getting three points on Saturday for Rushden and Diamonds."

Edinburgh's team are 11th in the Blue Square Premier Division table following Tuesday night's goalless draw at Ebbsfleet United.
