Rushden & Diamonds have signed former Coventry midfielder Andy Gooding. The 19-year-old had left the Sky Blues earlier this month after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
He did not make a first-team appearance while at the Ricoh Arena, but had a 13-game loan spell at Burton Albion earlier this season.
Having tied up his move on Friday, Gooding was an unused substitute on Saturday as the Diamonds beat Weymouth 3-2 at Nene Park.
