Rotherham United have turned down an approach from Huddersfield Town for striker Adam Le Fondre, reports BBC Radio Sheffield.
The West Yorkshire side are keen on signing the 24-year-old who has 18 months remaining on his contract.
Millers chairman Tony Stewart: "We'll not sell any players that'll hurt our chances of getting promotion."
Le Fondre, who started his career at Stockport, has scored 18 goals so far this season.
The former Rochdale man has attracted attention from a number of clubs, but wants to see out his contract with the Millers:
"We are not going to discuss anything now, I am just going to play out my contract and do my best for Rotherham.
"We will have another look at it in the summer and take it from there, but I just want to try my hardest and we will see where that gets me.
