Rotherham United have signed prolific Rochdale striker Adam Le Fondre for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old has agreed a three-year contract, following protracted talks that initially broke down.
"We had an initial conversation, we were little apart, and then went our separate ways," Millers boss Mark Robins told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"Later on he (Le Fondre) had a rethink and told me he wanted to come here, which was great to hear."
Le Fondre, Rochdale's leading scorer for the past two seasons, has been brought in to replace Reuben Reid who joined West Bromwich Albion in July.
