Rotherham contracts having no impact - Ronnie Moore

Ronnie Moore
Moore is confident his players are fully focussed on the race for promotion

Rotherham United boss Ronnie Moore has denied that uncertainty surrounding a number of players' futures is affecting their League Two promotion push.

Captain Ian Sharps, defender Pablo Mills and striker Drew Broughton are among 12 players out of contract at the end of the season.

Moore told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Not one of them has come and asked me about a contract."

Rotherham have lost their last four games, hampering their promotion hopes.

Moore added: "If it was me and my contract was up at the end of the season, I'd certainly be running my socks off, jumping up and down and saying, "Hey, if you don't want me someone else will."

"There's going to be other clubs looking at the players."
