Rotherham boss Mark Robins has signed midfielder Danny Harrison and full-back Dale Tonge. Harrison, 24, joins the Millers after being released by Tranmere Rovers, where he started over 100 games.
Tonge, 22, was also a free agent after being released by Barnsley at the end of the season with 50 first-team appearance behind him.
However, Robins is resigned to losing midfielder Martin Woods, 21, who joined from Sunderland last summer.
"Martin will leave the club - we have known that for a week and it's disappointing, but we have to move on," Robins told the club's website.
