Player-coach Jason McAteer is one of five players who have been released by League One side Tranmere Rovers. The 35-year-old ex-Republic of Ireland international has left after spending three seasons at Prenton Park.
Veteran keepers Gavin Ward, 36, and John Achterberg, 35, midfielders Danny Harrison, 24, and Olly James, 20, have also been released.
"We're looking to add new faces to our squad for next season," Moore told the club's website.
"We have targeted the areas we feel we need to improve on - one of which is the need for a young, enthusastic, ball-winning midfielder."
