Kettlewell suffered relegation with Clyde this season
Ross County have snapped up Stuart Kettlewell after the midfielder had his contract torn-up by Clyde.
Kettlewell was one of 12 players who agreed to terminate their contracts to prevent the club relegated to Division Two going into administration.
County head coach Derek Adams said of the 25-year-old: "Stuart is the sort of player that every team needs.
"He is someone who is willing to get stuck in and do the hard graft in the middle of the park."
Kettlewell had come through the ranks at Queen's Park, becoming captain, before spending last season with Clyde, making 31 appearances for the Cumbernauld side.
He becomes First Division County's fifth summer acquisition.
Striker Paul Di Giacomo joined after leaving relegated Airdrie United, right-back Gary Miller after departing Division One rivals Livingston, while midfielder Iain Vigurs and striker Garry Wood had left Inverness after their demotion from the Scottish Premier League.
County had earlier lost three players to rival First Division clubs.
Defender Andy Dowie moved to Dunfermline Athletic, while midfielder Richie Hart and striker Sean Higgins joined Dundee.
