Craig Dawson targets improvement in Rochdale's results

Rochdale defender Craig Dawson says the club must start picking up results to match their performances.

The 20-year-old defender signed for West Brom in the summer but was immediately loaned back to Spotland in a season-long deal.

He told BBC Radio Manchester: "The team's playing well but we just need to start getting results. They'll come, we just need to keep working hard.

"Everybody in the squad's the same and fully focused on the league task."

The centre-back joined Rochdale from non-league side Radcliffe Borough and won the League Two player of the year award in his first season as a professional.

"My own form's been no too bad and I just need to keep working hard until the end of the season," he added.

"I haven't set any targets. I'm just taking everyday as it comes and seeing how it goes."
