Dawson picks up L2 player honour
Rochdale defender Craig Dawson was named League Two player of the year at the annual Football League Awards.
The 19-year-old is in only his second season of league football after joining from Unibond League side Radcliffe Borough in February last year.
Dale youngster Chris Brown was also named one of the top three apprentices in the division.
And Rochdale scooped a third award when they were voted one of League Two's top three family clubs.
Dawson said: "I want to give a big thanks to the gaffer and Gary Flitcroft for giving me the opportunity to play some league football."
