Ramage joined QPR on a free transfer from Newcastle in 2008
QPR defender Peter Ramage has signed a new one-year deal at Loftus Road.
The 27-year-old has made 74 appearances since arriving from Newcastle in 2008, but made just four appearances this term after suffering a knee injury.
"Peter deserves this new contract, he's a great man and a great character in the dressing room," manager Neil Warnock told the club website.
Ramage added: "I've got a point to prove and have a lot to offer this football club."
He continued: "I always wanted to stay here and the gaffer made it clear from the day I got injured that he'd give me a chance, so now it's up to me to repay the faith he has shown in me."
