Preston have signed midfielder Ricardo Gardner on a one-month emergency loan from Bolton Wanderers.
The 32-year-old Jamaica captain has made 402 appearances since joining Bolton in July 1998.
Gardner, who played for Jamaica in the 1998 World Cup in France, scored on his Football League debut against West Brom in September that year.
He is eligible to make his Preston debut against Leeds on Tuesday and will remain at Deepdale until 6 April.
