Port Vale have extended the loan deal of Bristol Rovers forward Sean Rigg until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old joined Vale on loan from League One side Rovers and scored one goal in four appearances.

Rigg had a loan spell earlier this season at Forest Green and was at Grays Athletic last term.

He hit the headlines in 2006 after he was assaulted during an FA Cup game with Barrow, with his attacker James Cotterill jailed for four months.
