Port Vale's Anthony Griffith home after brain scan
Griffith joined Vale from Doncaster during the summer of 2008
Port Vale midfielder Anthony Griffith has been cleared to return home after having a brain scan following the 1-1 draw against Northampton on Saturday.
The 23-year-old was knocked unconscious within 120 seconds of the game at Sixfields and was eventually replaced by Doug Loft after 24 minutes.
The former Doncaster player went to hospital for a CT scan as a precaution, but was discharged later on Saturday.
Griffith has played 25 times this season for the Valiants.
