Plymouth Argyle defender Mathias Doumbe has terminated his contract at Home Park by mutual consent.
Doumbe spent five years with the club, after being signed by former boss Bobby Williamson in June 2004.
The 29-year-old, who was Plymouth's longest serving player, has been training with League One side Millwall.
Lions boss Kenny Jackett confirmed on the club's website on Thursday that he had made an offer for Doumbe, but a deal is yet to be completed.
The French centre-half started his career with Paris St Germain, before moving to Hibernian in 2001.
